Overview

DC64-01538A is the original electronic door lock (door interlock switch) for Samsung’s drum washing machine. The replacement model is ZV-446L5 / ZV446L5.

Installation

• Remove the steel wire retaining spring on the outer side of the washing machine door gasket, pry open the edge of the gasket a little, and expose the door lock.
• Unplug the 3-pin wiring harness plug on the door lock.
• Remove the 2 screws that fix the door lock, and take off the old door lock.
• Install the new door lock at the correct position, and tighten the two fixing screws.
• Insert the wiring harness plug back, reset the gasket and secure the retaining spring.
• Close the door and power it on. Test the door opening and closing, and the normal operation of the entire machine.
